Coys to auction unique lots at InterClassics Maastricht

MAASTRICHT, 6 January 2017 - Coys of London, one of Europe's leading auctioneers for classic motor vehicles, will be at InterClassics Maastricht for the 4th time. The 'Grandes Marques' auction on Saturday 14 January 2016 will see more than 50 lots go under the hammer, including an exclusive 1965 Ferrari 330 GT. The price categories vary from low to high, making the auction interesting for all budgets. Lots are available for viewing from Thursday 12 January during the car show.

Austin Healey 100M BN2 LE MANS
Among the auction lots is a 1956 Austin Healey with an estimated value of between €180,000 and €220,000. The iconic British sports car with a four-cylinder Austin A90 engine was developed in 1953 by racer Donald Healey. British Motor Corporation saw the value of a strong competitor of the Triumph TR Series and took over production. In 1955, a high-performance 100M model was introduced which produced 110 horsepower (82 kW) at 4500 rpm. About 70% of the 100Ms were finished in a two-tone colour scheme, including a white/red version and a black/pink version especially for the London Motor Show in 1955. In total, 640 100Ms were built.
The exclusive Coys auction will be held on Saturday 14 January 2016 starting at 15:00 hours in the Trajectum, the general area of the conference centre. For more information about the auction lots, see
