InterClassics Maastricht nominated for International Historic Motoring Awards

The Benelux’s premier classic car show for over 25 years, InterClassics Maastricht has been nominated for the first time to win ‘the motoring event of the year’ in the Historic Motoring Awards. During the eighth edition of this event which will be held in London on 25 October 2018, various awards will be presented to the most notable people, events and companies active in the classic-car world in Europe, Asia, the United States and Australia. The jury consists of an international group of judges and experts from Octane Magazine UK, each of whom is an authority on the classic-car world. 

InterClassics Maastricht is one of the five motoring events to be nominated, and will be competing against Concours of Elegance, Classic Nostalgia at Shelsley Walsh, The Festival of the Unexceptional and Retro Classics Stuttgart in the ‘motoring event of the year’ category. Winners of previous events include Vintage Revival Montlhéry in 2017 and Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in 2016. The awards feature a total of 19 categories including ‘car of the year’, ‘restoration of the year’, ‘book or film of the year’, ‘club of the year’, ‘heritage collection of the year’, ‘museum of the year’ and ‘specialist of the year’.

The 26th edition of InterClassics Maastricht will be held at MECC Maastricht from Thursday, 10 through Sunday, 13 January 2019. The classic car trade exhibition traditionally attracts many buyers and enthusiasts. With 35,000 m2 of exhibition floor space for 300 exhibitors and more than 800 classic cars on display, InterClassics Maastricht is the largest classic-car event in the Benelux.
